The Pickle Grounds by WAD Games has not published a rate. Of the 597 Philippine courts on PickleBoard that do publish one, the median drop-in fee is ₱150 per player and the median court-hire rate is ₱300 an hour, so those are reasonable expectations. Accepted Answer

Is The Pickle Grounds by WAD Games suitable for beginners?

Accepted Answer

The Pickle Grounds by WAD Games has no lessons or paddle rental on file, so arrive with your own paddle and expect to learn by playing. That is how most Filipino players started. Ask whether the venue runs open play or mixed-level sessions, since joining one of those is far more useful for a beginner than renting an empty court, and read the Learn to Play guide first so the scoring makes sense.

Question 6

What should I bring to play at The Pickle Grounds by WAD Games?

Accepted Answer

A paddle, balls matched to the surface, outdoor for concrete or asphalt and indoor for wood or sprung floors, and court shoes with lateral support. For an outdoor court in Naval, add sunscreen, a sweat towel, and at least a litre of water, and aim for early morning or late afternoon. Without listed lighting, plan to finish before dusk.
